Abstracts of expenditures for Barge Canal projects authorized by acts of the legislature, 1917-1920.

This series of abstracts, created by the Superintendent of Public Works for the State Comptroller's Office, documents expenditures for special Barge Canal projects authorized by acts of the legislature. The recto consists of printed heading and typed information concerning the law and chapter that authorized the project, voucher number, to whom paid, for what service or material supplied, amount, warrant number and file number. All typed information appears to be carbon copy. Verso consists of printed information with spaces for file number, abstract number, division section number, date, amount, brief description of services or materials, law and chapter number, and county. This information is always supplied.
